About

How I work with clients

Hey! I'm Sarah — a wedding and portrait photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in natural light photography that captures real emotions and genuine moments. Over the past 8 years, I've shot 200+ weddings across the Pacific Northwest, from coastal elopements in Cannon Beach to forest ceremonies in the Columbia River Gorge. My style leans editorial but stays grounded in documentary — I want your photos to feel like YOU, not a magazine spread. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me hiking with my dog Maple, hunting for vintage lenses at estate sales, or teaching photography workshops at Portland Community College.

Client Reviews

What clients say

4.7from 3 reviews
Great elopement photos! Sarah hiked 3 miles with us to our ceremony spot without complaining once. Only 4 stars because the gallery took a bit longer than expected, but quality was worth the wait.

Jake Thompson

Response

Thanks Jake! That hike was epic. Sorry about the extra turnaround time — those misty forest shots needed extra love in editing.

Hired Sarah for our company rebrand and she completely nailed it. Understood our vibe immediately and delivered photos that look like us, not corporate stock photography. Fast turnaround too.

Marcus Rivera

Sarah was absolutely incredible. She made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. The photos came back even better than we imagined — every single one felt like a real moment, not posed. Our families cried when they saw the gallery.

Emily Chen

Response

Emily, this means the world! Your wedding was one of my all-time favorites to shoot. That golden hour ceremony had me tearing up behind the lens.
